Panthers Win On Senior Day, Move to #1 Ranking

The GC Panthers (7-2) defeated the LaGrange Panthers 28-21 on Saturday to finish the regular season 7-2, the best Division III record in school history. With this win, the Panthers moved to the #1 ranking among Christian Colleges in the NCCAA.

The Panthers have also secured an invited to the Victory Bowl, a Christian College bowl game between the #1 and #2 Christian Colleges in the nation. It will be announced later today where the bowl will be held.

This season was a season of first's for the Panthers. First conference championship as a D-III program, first win over Washington University, best record as a D-III team, and first bowl berth under Coach Hehman. Head Coach Eric Hehman said "It is all thanks to the 17 seniors who have put in so much into the program. Their commitment and belief has paid off, and now we are seeing the results of that."
