New Coach Robbie Schomaker

Robbie Schomaker has been named offensive coordinator for the Greenville College football team. Coach Schomaker has been the Trinity International University offensive line coach and special teams coordinator for the past four seasons.

Coach Schomaker comes from a long line of coaches who have made the transition from TIU to Greenville including Coach Ordell Walker. The Panthers expect a seamless transition to coach Schomaker due to his knowledge of the offense.

Coach Schomaker has been one of the top recruiters on Trinity’s staff over the past four years. He has signed athletes from seven different states with a majority of those players coming from Illinois. He was a part of a mass recruiting effort for Trinity last season that saw 73 student athletes sign a letter of intent.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Schomaker is a graduate of Trinity International University with a B.A. in Business Management. While spending a brief stint at NCAA Division III Ohio Northern University, coach Schomaker spent the majority of his playing career at TIU. There he was a two-year starter at defensive end as well as a captain in 2005.

In 2004, he was an important cog on a team that ranked 14th in the country and played in the first round of the NAIA playoffs. Robbie and his wife, Annie currently reside in Chicago.
