A sign of a successful program is the stability of the coaching staff. The Greenville College Football program’s coaching staff is as stable as they come. The 2011 staff will return every member of the 2010 staff.

In his second season as Head Coach Ordell Walker looks to build on the success of 2010. Last season he was awarded as the UMAC Coach of the Year while leading the Panthers to a 6-0 UMAC record (7-3 overall).

Offensive Coordinator and Recruiting Coordination Robbie Schomaker is in his second season at Greenville. Last year Coach Schomaker’s offense scored 31.8 points per game and was eighth in the nation in rushing with 306 yards per game.

Defensive Coordinator Jake Schenk returns for his third season with the Panthers. Last season he led a defense that only allowed 21.6 points per game and had a UMAC-high 21 sacks.

Offensive Line Coach and JV Head Coach Aaron Mingo continues to coach at his Alma Mater. In 2010, he led the JV team to a 3-1 record. He also has coached consecutive UMAC Lineman of the year.
The defensive line will be blessed to have Rich Stewart as their coach again this season. Coach Stew has coached Panther teams for 13 different seasons (nonconsecutive).

Defensive Backs Coach TJ Gaylord is back assisting the defense. This will be his 9th season with the Panthers (playing and coaching). Last season he coached two 1st team All-UMAC players and one 2nd Team.

Coach Andrew Rode will begin his second season coaching the running backs and slot receivers at Greenville College in 2011. In 2010, Coach Rode coached the UMAC Offensive Player of the Year, Anthony Ambers.
