For the third year the Greenville College Panthers will participate in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Dome Day event. This two day conference showcase takes place at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.

On Saturday October 29th at 1PM the Panthers will take on the University of Minnesota-Morris Cougars. This will be the first meeting between the two UMAC schools. In 2010 the Cougars finished the season tied for third in the UMAC with a 4-2 conference record (5-4 overall).

Dome Day is a unique event that the Panthers have enjoyed the past two seasons. In 2009 Greenville defeated Northwestern College 26-20 en route to the UMAC South Championship. It was an exciting back and forth affair that had a historical ending. In 2010 the Panthers used Dome Day to secure the UMAC Championship by defeating Crown College 51-20.
