Greenville Celebrates MLK

Monday  January 16th the Greenville College community will celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The college with take a break from regular classes to reflect on the mission of Dr. King. Students, faculty and staff are encourage to participate in all of the sessions.

Head Coach Ordell Walker will be on the diversity panel at 1:15pm.The following is the complete schedule of events on campus.

9.30 am Chapel  (Ladue Auditorium)  Lloyd Nick is leading worship Michael Carlisle is reciting "I have a dream" Dr. Theresa Holden - speaking

10.30 am Session 1 & 2

Session 1 (Upper Union) - Students from the Education department (faculty sponsor Karlene Johnson)

Session 2 (Marston 301) - Student from the Digital Media department (faculty sponsor Jessa Wilcoxen

11.30 am Service Organizations Opportunity Fair (DC) 

1.15 pm Session 3 & 4

Session 3 (Snyder 104) - Diversity Panel - Dr. Dunkley, Dunnington, T. Holden and Coaches Patton & Walker.

Session 4 (Upper Union) - Students from the Education department (faculty sponsor Theresa Holden)

2.00 pm Closing Session (Ladue Auditorium) Special Guest Speaker and Music - Pastor Glenda Taylor (Living Word Fellowship Church)

5.00 pm Continuation of Service Organization Opportunity Fair (DC)
