Panther Award Winner

This past weekend senior John Smith (Aurora, IL) was recognized by The American Advertizing Federation (AAF) with a Silver ADDY Award. As described on their website,"The AAF Student ADDY Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students."

The video "bump" Smith created was created for AgapeFest, which is a student run  music festival in Greenville, IL.

There were six total winners from Greenville College. The Digital Media department wrote more about the other winners here. 

Smith is a senior Digital Media student at Greenville College. He was a three year starter for the Panthers. During his career the Panthers won 27 games, played in two NCCAA Victory Bowls and won two conference championships. Smith was also received All-UMAC honors in 2010 and in his final regular season game earned UMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
