He was a servant leader on his high school team and consistently put the needs of his teammates in front of his own needs. Nathan has the ability to play Defensive End and contribute on special teams. This should help him see the field early on in his career at Greenville.”

Coach Rode: “Robert Deering is a young man with outstanding character and will have an impact as soon as he steps on campus. He has a fierce resolve and will bring a lot of intensity and passion to the heart of the Panther defense. He was highly decorated coming out of high school, and has the potential to leave college in the same fashion.”
