Greenville Announces 2012 JV Schedule

Once again in 2012, the Greenville College Football season will not only include a Varsity schedule, but will also have JV contests as well. The JV program is a great way for young guys to get playing experience right away, and develop their skills and ability. The JV schedule includes four contests this year.

The Panthers will kickoff their JV season on Monday, September 10th at Millikin University at 3pm. The JV Panthers won a nail-biter over Millikin in 2010 by a score of 24-20, but fell last year in an equally exciting close game by a score of 13-12. The Panthers will next play host to Bethel (TN) University on Monday, September 24th at 4pm. The JV Panthers played Bethel twice in 2011, but ended up on the losing end in both contests.
The Panthers will continue their JV season with a trip once again to Rose-Hulman University in Terre Haute, IN. That game is scheduled to start at 5pm (EST). The JV Panthers will look to avenge last year’s loss to Rose-Hulman. After a quick turnaround, the JV Panthers will play the Greenville College Football Alumni team on Friday, October 19th at 4:30pm on Francis Field in the 2nd annual Championship Play Championship Lives Bowl. Last year, it was the Alumni team who came out on top with a score of 12-0.
